Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson (born Kristen Noel Swanson) is an American actor, who gained notoriety in the role of Buffy Summers. Her other roles include: Rebecca Becky Granger, in the television film Nightingales and the short-lived NBC Show with the same title; Erica Paget in Early Edition on CBS and Marlowe Viccellio as Psych. Born in California, she discovered her love for acting when an early child. She was a part of the industry of advertising and appeared in a variety of commercials. In 1984 she made her debut on screen in an episode of NBC's sitcom It's Your Turn. In 1986, she made her debut on an edgy romantic comedy titled Pretty in Pink. Swan, who is renowned for her stunning voice and a blonde hair, has appeared in parts in a variety of roles over the last few years. Flowers in the Attic won her the Young Artist Award in the category of the best Young Actress in Horror or Mystery Motion Picture in 1989.
