Ashanti Shequoiya Douglas popularly known by the name Ashanti was born on October 13, 1980 in Glen Cove New York United States. She's a performer and an actress who hails from her native United States. Ashanti became famous as an 18-year-old and was signed to Murder Inc. Records in 2002. That same year, she was featured in Fat Joe's What's Luv? She also appeared on Fat Joe's song"What's Luv!" and the Ja Rules track Always on Time, both of which became huge hit songs. The first ever female to reach the highest two spots within the United States, with Foolish at number one, and What's Luv? She became the first female artist holding the highest two positions on the The Billboard Hot 100 list in the United States, with Foolish at number one and the other being What's Loving? We can celebrate this special day with us. Ashanti Shequoiya Douglas, also known in the media as Ashanti was born in Glen Cove New York on October 13, 1980. Tina Douglas is the mother of Ashanti and Ken Kaide Douglas serves as the father. She is Kenashia's sister. She is the oldest. She has acted in the film Christmas in the City as in Army Wives. Aitch has sampled Rock wit U in his Baby on March 10, 2022 song.
