Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou in Beaumont Puy De Domme in France was born on the 9th of August in 1976. Audrey was the elder child of four. Audrey's parents, both a dental dentist and teacher, were aware of and supported their daughter's enthusiasm for drama and theater at the age of a stage novice. Their support was more than enough to combat her desire to become an animal scientist. Her fame grew as a child actor quickly and enjoyed huge popularity and success. When she graduated in 1998, her education, she was selected to be a part of Jeunes Premiers an French TV talent-scouting programme sponsored by Canal+. There she received the award for best Young Actress in Beziers Festival of Young Actors. The result was that she decided to pursue a acting profession. Tautou studied at Institut Catholique de Paris, went to church when she was a child and was raised Catholic. However she is now separating herself from her Catholic upbringing. In addition to her acting career she also pursued a modelling career. Also, she is the spokesperson for L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and often called The Chanel Muse. Her photography is also a passion and she recently exhibited her work at the Arles festival with the name Superficial. The majority of her photographs concern the spotlight and fame. The exhibit also includes self-portraits as well. Audrey Tautou's very first major role, as Amelie Poulain's main actress in Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain, brought her fame to the world. Amelie was a box office success and was acclaimed at awards galas across the world. It is the most successful French language film to date in the US. In the years following the release of this film, Tautou starred in numerous films ranging from British dramas to Jean Pierre Jeunet's long dimanche de fiancailles. Then she moved into Hollywood and appeared alongside Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
